There are two versions available in the Google Play Store, free and premium. As you could probably tell, the free version has some features locked whereas the premium version has all the features unlocked.
Download Screen
The application is 5.09 MB big as you can see from the screenshot. You can find this at the Google Play Store under the name Camera Zoom FX or Camera Zoom FX Premium. Since i had already bought the premium version I'm going to review that. It is a very small download relative to all the features it has. Camera Zoom FX also has some downloadable content inside to add more effects, hence the FX.
First Time Launch
Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the app, you will be greeted with this welcome screen. It says about the features and good stuff this app is capable of.
Layout
By default you should see all the features displayed in the screenshot. I would say they keep the layout nice and simple, with black and white colors as the main theme. When you first launch the app, it will be in "Immersive Mode" which basically mean that the navigation buttons are hidden if your phone doesn't have capacitive/physical buttons. Also, by default settings the brightness of your phone's screen will be set to max if it isn't already. It is sort of annoying but you can disable that. If you prefer both of these settings turned off, I will point out how to do it later on.
On-Screen Features
From the default on-screen features you can select various aspects to control the quality of your photos. Starting from the top from left to right we have the video camera, exposure settings, focus mode, flash mode, camera switch (front cam to back cam and vice versa), and the shutdown sign which exits the app. On the bottom from left to right we have the preview, shooting modes, the capture button, FX, and the menu/settings button.
Here are some pictures of the said on-screen features. Each one has more selection (except the exposure settings) than shown in the screenshots below so you can swipe up/down or left/right to see more.
Settings/Menu
If you swipe left in the settings/menu, you can go to the more in-depth settings screen. Here you can see all of what you can edit so that the camera works the way you wanted it to be.
In the first tab, you can configure the camera and settings related to FX.
Disabling Immersive Mode
In the picture on the right, you can see the Immersive Mode, untick it to reveal the navigation button as shown on the bottom of the left picture.
Enabling Auto Brightness
In the picture to the left, you can see the 'Brightness' option, Tap on it so it shows 'A' instead of an 'O'. Now the brightness will be set to your screen's brightness whenever you are using the app.
In the second tab you can configure the save folder and things related to the file.
In the third tab, you can configure shooting modes, and also a neat voice activation related options.
In the fourth tab, you can customize the placement of the features. the first six buttons you choose will be displayed on the top of the screen at all times. As you can see, there are some options that are only supported on some devices, for me the Focus Distance, ISO and Shutter Speeds aren't supported, which are grayed out. My device doesn't have a configurable focus distance and shutter speeds, but it does have customizable ISO which for some reason is not supported here.
In the fifth tab you can bind some actions to the buttons on your device as well as some gestures to trigger some features such as zooming in and out, taking pictures and so on.
In the sixth tab, it's basically the 'About' of the app as you scroll down.
FX
This is what special about the Camera ZOOM FX. With this app you can edit your pictures, right after you took them. you can add filters, take your photos already cropped to the size given in the settings. It is all in all a very fluid experience for me. I personally don't use it too much but I would say that there aren't much filters to play around with, same goes for the frames that were pre-installed. But, you can always download more from their site, so its a win-win situation i guess.
You can also combine the frames and filters to produce some cool effects. Here are some examples :

The effects are quite cool, but it definitely downgraded the quality of the pictures. Each of these pictures aren't even 100 kb big. So in exchange of the quality, you can get these effects which personally I don't really use too frequently.
Also apparently you can also make some greeting card themes but you have to purchase them in app, each one of them were below 1$ at the time this post got published.
Thanks for reading this long review, hope I had pointed out some of the features you guys are probably searching for. See you later!
